Drawing a hairy yak

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a very special animal: the yak. This is a kind of super hairy cow that lives high in the mountains. Grab your pencil and let's create a fluffy mountain dweller together!
1
Two ovals forming the base for the body and the head of the yak.
Draw a large horizontal oval for the body and a smaller vertical oval for the head.
2
Lines forming the neck and a long curved line for the tail.
Connect the head to the body by drawing a sturdy neck and add a curved line for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the legs and a circle on the head for the snout.
Sketch four straight guide lines under the body for the legs and make a circle for the snout.
4
The yak gets ears and thicker shapes for the legs.
Now draw the ears on the side of the head and make the legs a bit thicker.
5
Drawing of hooves on the legs and large arches for the horns.
Give the yak hooves at the bottom of the legs and draw the large, curved horns on its head.
6
The face of the yak with eyes, a nose, and a full tail.
Draw two small circles for the eyes and make a little nose on the snout.
7
Details of a hairy coat with short pencil strokes all over the body.
Make the fur extra hairy by putting small, short strokes and waves everywhere.
8
The finished drawing of a yak on a surface without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines and color your yak beautifully; don't forget to draw the ground under its feet!
