Drawing a cheerful white cockatoo

Birds
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a white cockatoo, a bird known for its beautiful crest. Grab your pencil and a white sheet of paper, and let's get started together. It's easier than you think!
1
Two ovals and a horizontal line for the base of the cockatoo.
Draw two ovals for the head and the body, a guide line for the beak, and a straight line for the branch.
2
The outline of the neck and a long line downwards for the tail.
Connect the head and the body with lines for the neck and draw a long diagonal line for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the beak and the feet of the bird.
Draw small shapes where the feet and the beak will eventually be.
4
A curved beak and the thickness of the tail and feet drawn.
Finish the beak with a nice curved shape and draw the base of the tail and the feet.
5
The wing, toes on the branch, and the first lines of the crest on top of the head.
Draw the wing on the back, the toes around the branch, and the first lines of the large crest.
6
Details of the feathers in the crest, tail, and wings.
Give the crest, the tail, and the wings more shape by adding extra feathers and lines.
7
The eye of the cockatoo and small sharp claws on the toes.
Draw a small round eye with a dot inside and add small claws to the feet.
8
The cockatoo with extra details and small feather lines all over the body.
Look closely at your drawing and add small feathers and details everywhere to make it look real.
9
The finished drawing of a white cockatoo on a branch without guide lines.
Make the outer lines darker, finish the branch nicely, and carefully erase all guide lines.
