Drawing a funny opossum

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a very special animal: the opossum. With its pointed snout and long tail, it looks super funny. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!
1
Two ovals for the head and body of the opossum with a line for the branch.
Draw a small oval for the head and a large one for the body, and draw a diagonal line for the tree branch.
2
The shapes of the neck and a long curved line for the tail of the opossum.
Connect the ovals with two curved lines for the neck and draw a long curl for the tail.
3
Small lines indicating the spots for the legs and the mouth.
Place short guide lines in the spots where the legs and the mouth should go later.
4
Sketch of the legs, the snout, and the round ear of the opossum.
Now sketch the shapes of the legs and add a small round ear and the pointed snout.
5
Details such as the eye, the nose, and a thicker tail are added.
Draw a shiny eye, a small nose, and make the tail a bit thicker.
6
Small legs with toes at the bottom of the body.
Draw small toes on the legs so the opossum can hold on tight.
7
The opossum gets more details and soft lines for the fur.
Now make the lines of the entire body neat and add small hairs for the fur.
8
The finished drawing of an opossum on a tree branch without guide lines.
Finish the tree branch with some texture and erase all the guide lines you no longer need.
