Drawing a cool bat step-by-step

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw an exciting bat flying through the night. Grab your pencil and eraser, because we're starting with simple shapes. Look closely at the steps and before you know it, you'll have a cool animal on paper.
1
A vertical line with a small horizontal oval at the top for the head.
Draw a guide line in the center and make a small oval at the top for the bat's head.
2
A large oval under the head with two long lines sticking out like arms.
Draw a larger oval below the head for the body and draw two long, diagonal lines upwards for the wings.
3
Guide lines for the wing bones and a rough shape for the bat's snout.
Make the wings stronger by drawing extra lines downwards and sketch the shape of the face.
4
Two triangular ears on the head and two round eyes in the middle.
Draw two large, pointy ears on the head and make small circles for the eyes.
5
Small legs under the body and details in the ears and the face.
Give the bat little legs at the bottom and make the edges of the ears and eyes clearer.
6
Jagged lines forming the bottom of the large bat wings.
Draw the bottom of the wings with wavy lines that are attached to the legs.
7
A little face with a nose, mouth, and two small pointy fangs.
Draw a small nose and a mouth with two small, sharp teeth for a real vampire effect.
8
The finished bat with clean lines and a few clouds in the sky.
Make all lines neatly dark, draw some clouds in the background if you like, and erase the guide lines.
