Drawing a stork with a baby

Birds
Today we are going to create something very special: a stork coming to deliver a baby! It might look difficult, but we will simply start with basic circles. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together. Have fun with this cheerful bird!
1
Basic shapes of a stork and baby drawn with ovals and circles.
Draw a large oval for the stork's body and a small circle for the head and the baby.
2
The stork's neck and the top of the baby cloth are added.
Connect the head to the body with two curved lines for the neck and sketch the knot of the baby cloth.
3
Guide lines for the beak, wings, and the small baby legs.
Draw a long line for the beak and place guide lines for the wings and the baby's legs.
4
The beak takes shape and the long bird legs are sketched.
Make the beak thicker and draw the long, thin lines for the stork's legs.
5
Details of the wing and the baby's tiny feet.
Give the wing a nice shape and draw the baby's feet sticking out of the cloth.
6
The stork's face and feet get more detail.
Draw an eye for the stork and add small toes to the bird's feet.
7
Feathers and small details are added throughout the drawing.
Add feathers to the tail and wings to really bring the bird to life.
8
The completed drawing of a stork with a baby without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines and trace the most important lines once more to make them extra dark.
