Drawing a Spinosaurus: Learn to create a dino step-by-step

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a super cool Spinosaurus, the dino with the big sail on its back. We'll start very simply with a few circles and lines. Before you know it, there will be a roaring dinosaur on your paper!
1
Two ovals on a white sheet of paper forming the head and body of the dino.
Draw a small oval for the head and a large horizontal oval for the body.
2
Guide lines connecting the head to the body and a long sweeping tail line.
Connect the head and the body with two curved lines for the neck and draw a long line for the tail.
3
The outline of the neck and tail are drawn thicker around the guide lines.
Now draw the shapes for the thick neck and make the tail a bit wider with an extra line.
4
Simple strokes for the position of the front legs, back legs, and the mouth.
Place straight lines where the legs and the open mouth should be.
5
Thick dino legs and a large semi-circle on top of the Spinosaurus's back.
Make the legs thicker and draw a large arch on the back for the famous crest.
6
Detail of the head with an eye and feet with three large toes attached.
Draw a small eye in the head and give the legs large toes.
7
Sharp nails on the legs and small details on the nose of the dinosaur.
Give the dino sharp claws on its legs and draw a nostril on the front of the snout.
8
Vertical stripes in the back sail and skin folds on the body of the dino.
Draw lines in the back crest and add wrinkles at the knees and the neck.
9
The completed Spinosaurus drawing with clean lines on a sandy surface.
Make the outlines extra dark, draw the ground underneath, and erase the guide lines.
