Birds
Hi little artist! Have you ever seen a seagull flying over the sea? Today we are going to draw one ourselves on paper. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!
1
Basic shapes of a seagull: a small circle and a large oval with a beak line.
Draw a small circle for the head and a larger oval below it for the body. Draw a short line for the beak.
2
The neck and tail line of the seagull connecting the circles.
Connect the head and the body with two lines for the neck and draw a slanted line for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the wing and the legs of the seagull.
Draw a long curved line for the top of the wing and add two small lines for the legs.
4
The beak and legs of the seagull getting more shape.
Make the beak thicker and give the wing and legs more shape with simple lines.
5
Details such as the eye and the shape of the tail are added.
Draw a small circle for the eye and give the tail a bit more volume.
6
Legs with toes and the bottom of the seagull's wing.
Draw the toes on the legs and create the bottom edge of the wing with wavy lines.
7
Details of feathers on the wings and small claws on the legs.
Add small strokes on the wings for the feathers and draw sharp little claws on the legs.
8
The finished drawing of the seagull without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines and trace the outer lines of your seagull extra dark.
