Animals

1
Two basic shapes: a small circle and a large horizontal oval for the base of the sea otter.
Draw a small circle for the head and a larger horizontal oval for the body.
2
The outline of the neck and a long tail on the right side of the body.
Connect the head and the body with two curved lines for the neck and draw a long pointed tail.
3
Short dashes on the body indicating where the otter's four paws will go.
Place small guide lines where the front and back paws will be located later.
4
Four round shapes forming the paws of the sea otter.
Now draw the round shapes of the front paws and the slightly larger back paws.
5
Detail of the head with a small nose and two arches for the ears.
Finish the snout by drawing a small nose and give the otter two small ears.
6
Face with eyes and small lines on the paws for the toes.
Draw the eyes as small black dots and give the paws little toes.
7
The otter gets details such as fluffy fur through small short lines.
Now draw the fur with short, hairy strokes over the entire body of the otter.
8
The finished drawing of a sea otter floating in the water without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines and draw wavy lines around the otter for the water.
