Drawing a cheerful reindeer

Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a real reindeer together, just like Santa's. We start very easily with simple circles and lines. Before you know it, there will be a beautiful animal on your paper!

Draw a small circle for the head and a large horizontal oval for the body.

Lines connecting the head and the body for the neck.
Connect the head and the body with two lines for the neck and draw a small curve for the tail.

Guide lines for the four legs and the nose of the reindeer.
Place four straight lines under the body where the legs should go and a small circle for the snout.

Thicker legs and the first lines for the large antlers.
Make the legs thicker by drawing lines around the guides and sketch two large arches on the head.

Details of the hooves and a fluffy tail.
Draw the hooves at the bottom of the legs and give the tail a bit more shape.

The eye of the reindeer and side branches on the antlers.
Draw an eye in the head and make the antlers larger by drawing extra branches on the arches.

Adding ears and a round nose to the head.
Give the reindeer two floppy ears on the side of the head and draw a round nose.

Adding small details to the entire body of the reindeer.
Look closely at your entire drawing and add small details, such as knees on the legs.

The final result of the reindeer with clean lines on the ground.
Go over the best lines with a dark pencil, erase the guide lines, and draw the ground.
