Drawing a cheerful Puggle in 8 steps

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a super fun Puggle, which is a mix between a Pug and a Beagle. Grab your pencil and eraser, because we're going to work step by step. It's not difficult at all if you start with simple shapes!
1
Basic shapes of a dog: a small circle above a larger horizontal oval.
Draw a small circle for the head and a larger oval below it for the body.
2
The circle and the oval are now connected with a neck and a tail line has been drawn.
Connect the head and the body with two short lines for the neck and draw a curved line for the tail.
3
Guide lines in the face and four straight lines under the body for the paws.
Draw guide lines in the face for the eyes and nose, and place straight lines where the legs should go.
4
Sketch of thick dog paws and two floppy ears on the side of the head.
Make the legs thicker and draw the floppy ears on the side of the head.
5
Details of the face such as eyes and nose, and small lines for the toes.
Draw the round eyes, a small nose, and little toes at the bottom of the paws.
6
A smiling dog mouth, a thick tail, and a line for the collar.
Give the Puggle a cheerful mouth, a curl in the tail, and draw a dog collar around the neck.
7
Refined lines of the dog with small wrinkles on the snout.
Make the fur lines a bit softer and add small wrinkles near the nose.
8
The finished drawing of a Puggle without guide lines, ready to be colored.
Erase the guide lines and trace the outer lines thicker for a bold result.
