Drawing a Peregrine Falcon: Learn to draw the fastest bird in the world

Birds
Hi young artist! Today we are going to draw a real speed demon: the peregrine falcon. This bird can fly faster than a racing car! Grab your pencil and eraser, and together we'll make a beautiful drawing of this tough bird on a rock.
1
Basic shapes of a peregrine falcon: a circle for the head, an oval for the body, and a rock.
Draw a small circle for the head and a large oval for the body, and sketch a rock at the bottom.
2
The neck lines and a long guide line for the peregrine falcon's tail are added.
Connect the head and the body with two lines for the neck and draw a long line for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the bird's eyes, beak, and legs.
Place small guide lines in the head for the eyes and beak, and draw lines where the legs should go.
4
Sketch of the beak and the start of the falcon's legs.
Now draw the large beak with a curve and give the bird sturdy upper legs.
5
The outline of the wings and the legs with claws are drawn.
Create the shape of the wings on the side of the body and draw the sharp claws on the rock.
6
Details of the eye and the wide tail of the peregrine falcon.
Draw the round eye and make the tail wider with straight lines pointing down.
7
Feathers on the wings and details on the beak and head.
Add small strokes for the feathers on the wings and finish the beak with a nostril.
8
Patterns on the feathers and details on the rock the bird is sitting on.
Draw the patterns on the falcon's chest and give the rock some extra lines for a realistic effect.
9
The completed drawing of the peregrine falcon with all details and without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines and trace the outer lines extra thick for a bold result.
