Drawing a Cheerful Orangutan

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a real king of the jungle: the orangutan. This large ape has long arms and loves climbing. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!
1
Basic shapes for the head and body of the orangutan with a center line.
Draw a small circle for the head and a large oval shape for the body with a guide line in the middle.
2
Sketch of the neck and the line for the vine the ape is hanging from.
Draw a thick neck connecting the head and the body, and draw a diagonal line for the rope.
3
Guide circles for the joints, hands, and snout of the ape.
Make circles and ovals where the shoulders, hands, feet, and snout should go.
4
The arms and legs of the ape drawn with thick lines.
Connect the circles with thick lines to create the orangutan's strong arms and legs.
5
Details of the hands, feet, and ears of the orangutan.
Now draw the fingers on the hands and the toes on the feet, and give the head small ears.
6
The face of the ape with eyes and a nose.
Give the ape a face by drawing two small eyes and a little nose in the snout.
7
Lines showing the hairy fur of the orangutan.
Draw short, hairy strokes all over the body so the ape gets a soft coat of fur.
8
The completed drawing of the orangutan without guide lines.
Make the outer lines extra dark with your pencil and erase all the guide lines you no longer need.
