Drawing a cool lynx in 8 steps

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a lynx, which is a kind of large wild cat with funny tufts on its ears. We'll start very easily with simple circles and lines. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!
1
Basic shapes of a lynx: two circles for the head and body and a diagonal line for the branch.
Draw a small circle for the head and a larger oval for the body. Also draw a diagonal line for the tree branch the lynx is sitting on.
2
The neck and tail of the lynx are drawn with simple lines on the tree branch.
Connect the head and the body with two lines for the neck. Draw a curved line at the back for the tail and make the branch thicker.
3
Guide lines for the snout and the legs of the lynx.
Place small guide lines in the face for the eyes and the nose. Also draw straight lines downwards for the legs.
4
Sketch of the thick legs, the snout, and the pointed ears of the lynx.
Make the legs thicker and draw the triangular shapes for the ears. Give the snout some shape.
5
Details of the face and the large feet of the lynx.
Draw the round eyes, a small nose, and the large pads of the feet. Don't forget the tufts on the ears!
6
Drawing the claws, the short tail, and details on the tree trunk.
Give the lynx sharp claws on its paws and finish the small tail. Add some extra lines to the tree branch for the bark.
7
The lynx gets a furry texture through small strokes all over the body.
Now draw small short strokes everywhere to give the lynx a furry coat. Also add whiskers near the nose.
8
The completed drawing of a lynx on a branch, neatly erased and outlined.
Carefully erase all guide lines and make the outer lines of your lynx extra dark. Your drawing is now finished!
