Drawing a lioness step-by-step

Animals
Hi young artist! Today we are going to draw a beautiful lioness prowling across the savannah. We will start very simply with circles and lines. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!
1
Basic shapes of a lioness: a circle for the head and a large oval for the body.
Draw a small circle for the head and a larger oval for the body of the lioness.
2
The neck lines and a long curved line for the tail of the lioness.
Connect the head and the body with two lines for the neck and draw a long, curved line for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the ears, eyes, and the four legs of the lioness.
Place guide lines on the head for the eyes and ears, and draw four straight lines downwards for the legs.
4
Sketching thicker legs and the shape of the lioness's snout.
Make the legs thicker and draw the snout as a small square at the front of the head.
5
Drawing round ears on the head and a fluffy tip on the tail.
Draw the round ears on top of the head and give the tail a small tuft at the end.
6
Details of the snout and the large feet of the lioness.
Draw the nose and mouth on the snout and give the legs large, round feet.
7
The eyes of the lioness and small lines for the toes.
Draw the almond-shaped eyes and add small toes to the feet.
8
Refining the lines of the body and adding details.
Make the body shapes smoother and add small details like whiskers and muscles.
9
The finished drawing of a lioness without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines and trace the outer lines extra thick for a bold result.
