Drawing Kagome Higurashi: Step-by-step anime lesson

Hi young artist! Today we are going to draw a real anime girl, namely Kagome. She might look difficult, but we start very easily with basic shapes. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!

Basic shape of a head with a long vertical line for the body posture.
Draw a circle for the head and draw a long vertical line down for the center of her body.

Draw a rectangle below the head for the torso and connect it to the head with a short neck.

Guide lines for the arms and horizontal marks on the face for the eyes.
Place thin guide lines for the arms along her body and draw lines for the position of the eyes.

Turn the lines into thicker shapes for the legs and draw the large outline of her wavy hair.
