Drawing a happy jellyfish in 8 simple steps

Hi little artist! Today we are going to take a dive into the deep ocean. We are going to draw a beautiful jellyfish floating peacefully through the water. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!

Guidelines in the shape of a cross for the proportions of the jellyfish.
First, draw a large cross with thin lines to determine how big and wide your jellyfish will be.

A large curved line for the top of the jellyfish.
Draw a large arc over the top of the cross, as if it were an umbrella or a semi-circle.

The bell of the jellyfish with the first start of the oral arms in the center.
Close the bottom of the bell with a slightly wavy line and draw two long strands hanging down in the center.

The bell gets an edge and the middle arms are drawn thicker.
Draw an extra edge along the bottom of the bell and make the middle strands a bit thicker and wavy.

Wavy details and fringes on the central arms of the jellyfish.
Give the thick arms in the middle beautiful fringes by drawing small wiggly lines on the sides.

Thin tentacles hanging down from the bell.
Now draw many thin, long lines floating straight down from the edge of the bell.

Extra details and lines in the large oral arms of the jellyfish.
Make the central arms even more beautiful by adding extra curls and layers for a full effect.
