Drawing a cute guinea pig in 8 simple steps

Animals
Hi little artist! Guinea pigs are super soft animals with round bellies and small paws. Today we are going to draw a guinea pig step-by-step using simple shapes. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!
1
Two ovals drawn with pencil for the head and body of a guinea pig.
Draw two ovals that slightly touch each other: a small one for the head and a larger one for the body.
2
Guide lines connecting the head and body of the guinea pig.
Connect the two shapes with curved lines to create the neck and back of your guinea pig.
3
Small straight lines under the body as a guide for the paws.
Place small dashes at the bottom of the body where the paws will be located later.
4
Thick shapes for the paws and a small semi-circular ear on the head.
Now create the shapes of the paws and draw a small arc on top of the head for the ear.
5
The front of the head gets a rounder shape for the nose and mouth.
Give your guinea pig a snout by making the front of the head a bit rounder.
6
Drawing of a guinea pig eye, nose, and small dashes for the toes.
Draw a shiny eye, a small nose, and the little toes on the paws.
7
Detailed drawing of the guinea pig's nails and whiskers.
Add small nails to the paws and draw the whiskers near the nose.
8
The completed drawing of a guinea pig without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines and trace the outer lines extra thick for a beautiful result.
