Drawing a cheerful flamingo: step-by-step explanation

Birds
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a graceful flamingo with its long neck and thin legs. Grab your pink pencil. We start very simply with circles and lines, so everyone can join in!
1
Basic shapes of a flamingo: a small circle and a large oval.
Draw a small circle for the head and a large horizontal oval for the body of the flamingo.
2
Two curved lines connecting the head to the body as a neck.
Connect the head and the body with two graceful, curved lines for the long neck.
3
A small eye and the shape of the beak on the head of the flamingo.
Draw a small circle in the head for the eye and sketch the large, curved beak.
4
Two long vertical lines under the body for the legs.
Draw two long, straight lines downwards for the thin legs of the bird.
5
A line for the wing on the body and details on the beak.
Draw a curved line on the body to create the wing and give the beak a tip.
6
Thicker lines for the legs with small circles as joints.
Make the legs slightly thicker and draw small bumps in the middle for the knees.
7
The feet of the flamingo with three toes on each leg.
At the bottom of the legs, draw the large webbed feet with three spreading toes.
8
Details of feathers on the wing and the back of the flamingo.
Add small dashes on the wing and the tail to show the feathers.
9
The completed drawing of a flamingo, ready to be colored.
Erase the guide lines and color your flamingo beautifully pink with a black beak tip.
