Drawing a cute little deer

Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a beautiful baby deer, also called a fawn. It might seem tricky, but with simple circles and lines, anyone can do it. Grab your drawing paper and an eraser, and let's get started together!

Basic shapes of a deer with a circle for the head and an oval for the body.
Draw a small circle for the head and a larger oval underneath for the body.

Guide lines connecting the head and the body of the deer as a neck.
Connect the head and the body with two slightly curved lines for the neck.

Lines indicating the position of the four legs and the tail of the deer.
Now draw four straight lines downwards for the legs and a small arc for the tail.

Sketch of the ears and the snout on the head of the deer.
Make two large ovals on top of the head for the ears and a snout at the front.

Drawing thicker legs and small hooves at the bottom of the lines.
Give the legs more shape by making them thicker and draw small blocks for the hooves.

Details of the face with an eye, nose, and lines in the ears.
Draw a shiny eye, a small nose, and make the inside of the ears visible.

Refining the tail and adding details to the joints of the legs.
Make the tail a bit fluffier and draw the deer's knees with small arcs.

The finished deer without guide lines standing on a line of grass.
Erase the guide lines and draw a small patch of grass under your deer's hooves.
