Drawing a giant Diplodocus

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a very special dinosaur: the Diplodocus. This dino has a super long body and an even longer neck. Will you join this fun drawing lesson?
1
Basic shapes of a Diplodocus: a large oval for the body and a small circle for the head.
Draw a large horizontal oval for the body and a very small circle for the head.
2
Long lines connecting the head to the body and forming the start of the tail.
Connect the head and the body with two long, curved lines for the neck and add a line for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the legs and the mouth of the dinosaur.
Draw four straight guide lines under the body for the legs and a small line for the jaw.
4
Drawing thick legs and a clear snout on the dinosaur.
Make the legs thicker by sketching shapes around them and give the head a snout.
5
Adding an eye to the head and a thick tail to the Diplodocus.
Draw a small eye in the head and make the tail thicker with a second line.
6
Drawing spikes on the back and details in the neck of the dino.
Place small triangles on the back for the spikes and draw wrinkles in the neck.
7
Nails on the legs and extra details on the body of the Diplodocus.
Give the legs small nails and further refine the shape of the belly and back.
8
The finished Diplodocus drawing with a drawn ground.
Erase the guide lines, trace the outer lines darkly, and draw the ground under its feet.
