Drawing a cute kitten

Hi little artist! Have you always wanted to draw your own fluffy friend? In this lesson, I'll show you how to create a very cute kitten using simple shapes. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started quickly!

Two ovals on top of each other as a base for the body and head of a kitten.
Draw a large oval for the belly and a smaller circle above it for the kitten's head.

Lines connecting the head and body with a curved line for the tail.
Connect the head to the body with two soft lines and draw a guide line for the long tail.

Guide lines on the face and dashes for the position of the paws.
Place small guide lines on the face for the eyes and draw short lines where the paws should go.

Triangular ears on the head and the first shapes of the paws and nose.
Draw two small triangles on top of the head for the ears and create the shape of the nose and paws.

Thicker lines for the legs and a full tail for the kitten.
Make the paws a bit thicker and give the tail a nice, full shape as well.

Round eyes on the face and small arches for the toes on the paws.
Now draw the large round eyes and don't forget the little toes on the paws.

Details in the ears and a small nose with a smile.
Give the ears an inside and finish the nose and mouth with a sweet smile.

Long whiskers on the side of the snout and small fur details.
Draw the whiskers and add small details, such as spots or soft fur.

The finished kitten without guide lines with clear black contours.
Carefully erase all guide lines and trace the outer lines of your kitten once more to make them extra dark.
