Drawing a cheerful Corgi in 9 steps

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a super fun Corgi, which is a dog with very short legs and big ears. Grab your pencil and eraser, because we are going to work step by step. It's not difficult at all if you start with simple shapes!
1
Two ovals drawn with pencil as a base for the head and body of a dog.
Draw a small oval for the head and a larger horizontal oval for the dog's body.
2
Lines connecting the two ovals to form the Corgi's neck.
Connect the head and the body with two curved lines to create the neck.
3
Small marks under the body and in the head for the correct proportions.
Place small guide lines where the legs and eyes should go later.
4
Large triangular ears and a round snout drawn on the Corgi's head.
Now draw the large, pointy ears on top of the head and start on the short snout.
5
Four short legs under the body and a horizontal line for the collar.
Draw the four short legs under the body and add a line for the collar.
6
Details of the dog's paws with toes and the shape of the mouth.
Finish the legs by drawing small arches for the toes and draw the bottom of the mouth.
7
Shiny eyes and details inside the large dog ears.
Draw the eyes as shiny spheres and add lines inside the ears for more depth.
8
A small nose on the snout and small strokes that look like soft dog fur.
Now draw the nose and add small details to the fur all over the body.
9
A finished drawing of a Corgi without guide lines.
Trace the final lines darker and erase all the guide lines you no longer need.
