Drawing a cute squirrel

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a super cute squirrel with those chubby cheeks. We'll start very easily with simple circles and lines. Before you know it, a little animal will be hopping across your paper!
1
Two ovals forming the base for the squirrel's head and body.
Draw two ovals: a small one for the head and a larger slanted one below it for the body.
2
The neck lines connect the head to the body and a large line indicates the tail.
Connect the two shapes with curved lines for the neck and draw a long curl for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the ears on the head and the positions of the paws at the bottom.
Place small guide lines for the ears, the chubby cheeks, and the spots for the paws.
4
The paws take shape and the snout becomes visible on the head.
Now draw the shape of the short paws and give the snout a small round shape.
5
Thick round cheeks and two pointed ears on the squirrel's head.
Make the cheeks nice and thick and round, and draw the small triangular ears on top.
6
Small toes on the paws and a wide shape for the fluffy tail.
Draw the toes on the paws and make the tail much thicker with a wavy line.
7
Details such as the eye, the nose, and small nails on the toes.
Give the squirrel a shiny eye, a little nose, and small claws on the paws.
8
Stripes on the squirrel's back and details in the fur.
Draw the characteristic stripes on the back and add small hairs to the tail.
9
The finished drawing of a squirrel without guide lines on a surface.
Erase the guide lines, trace the outer lines darkly, and draw the ground it is sitting on.
