Learning to draw a happy chicken

Birds
Hello little artist! Today we are going to draw a cozy chicken together that looks like it just walked off the farm. We start with simple shapes like circles and ovals, so it is very easy. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started quickly!
1
Two ovals drawn as a base for the head and the body of the chicken.
Draw a small oval for the head and a larger oval for the body of the chicken.
2
Lines connecting the head and the body with a small beak line.
Connect the two shapes with a neck and draw a guide line for the beak.
3
A larger oval for the body with a short line for the tail feathers.
Make the body a bit rounder and draw a diagonal line for the tail at the back.
4
Pencil lines for the legs and the first shape of the chicken tail.
Draw two straight lines down for the legs and a small triangle for the tail.
5
Thicker legs, a wing line on the belly, and the shape of the beak.
Give the legs some thickness and draw a curved line on the body for the wing.
6
Chicken with an eye, a comb on the head, and three toes on each leg.
Draw a small round eye, the toes on the legs, and the wavy comb on top of the head.
7
Details of feathers on the wing and a small wattle under the beak.
Add small details, such as feathers on the wing and an extra line near the beak.
8
A finished drawing of a happy chicken standing in the grass.
Make the outer lines darker, erase the guide lines, and draw some grass under the feet.
