Drawing a cheerful catfish

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a very special fish: the catfish. He is known for his long whiskers that look a bit like those of a cat. Grab your pencil and eraser, and let's get started together!
1
Basic shapes of a catfish with an oval and a long curved line.
Draw a slanted oval for the head and draw a long, curved guide line for the back.
2
A large oval for the body of the fish and a tail shape.
Make the body longer by attaching a large oval to the head and draw a small triangle for the tail.
3
Guide lines for the fins on the side and the whiskers near the mouth.
Now draw straight guide lines in the places where the fins and the large whiskers will go later.
4
The mouth of the catfish with two long wavy whiskers.
Give the catfish a wide mouth and draw the two longest whiskers with a nice sweep.
5
Detail of the head with an eye and extra short whiskers.
Draw a small round eye above the mouth and add a few more shorter whiskers under the chin.
6
Round fins on the top and side of the fish.
Finish the fins on the side and on top by giving them a nice round shape.
7
Details of the fins with small lines for a realistic effect.
Draw small lines in the fins and the tail so they look like real fin membranes.
8
The completed drawing of a catfish with bubbles and without guide lines.
Erase the guide lines, make the outer lines thicker, and draw some cheerful air bubbles around the fish.
