Drawing a happy little pig

Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a cute little pig that looks very happy. We'll start with simple shapes like a circle and an oval. Grab your drawing paper and an eraser, and let's get started together!

A horizontal oval with a cross in it as the base for the pig's head.
Draw a horizontal oval for the head and put a soft cross in it to find the center.

A large circle connected to the head for the pig's body.
Draw a larger circle behind the head for the belly and a short line for the tail.

Guide lines for the legs, the snout, the eyes, and the ears of the pig.
Put small lines for the legs and draw a small circle for the snout on the face.

Make the legs a bit thicker and draw two triangular floppy ears on top of the head.

No pig is complete without hooves; draw these at the bottom of the legs and make a curl in the tail.

Draw two happy eyes and don't forget the two holes in the nose.

Now trace all the lines that should remain extra firmly and darkly with your pencil.
