Drawing a cheerful carp in 8 steps

Animals
Hi young artist! Today we are going to draw a cool carp swimming through the water. With a few circles and lines, you will conjure up a real fish on your paper in no time. Grab your pencil and let's quickly start this water adventure!
1
Two ovals drawn with pencil for the base of the carp.
Draw two ovals that overlap slightly for the head and the body of the fish.
2
Lines connecting the ovals into a fish shape.
Connect the ovals with smooth lines to form the back and the belly of the carp.
3
Basic shape of the tail and fins added to the body.
Draw a triangle at the back for the tail and set guide lines for the fins.
4
The mouth and eye of the fish drawn in the correct place.
Make a small opening at the front for the mouth and draw a circle for the eye.
5
Detailed fins and gills added to the carp.
Give the fins their real shape with wavy lines and draw the gill cover behind the eye.
6
Small details like barbels and nostrils near the head.
Draw small details such as the nostrils and the characteristic barbels near the mouth.
7
Lines in the fins that give texture to the fish.
Now draw lines in the fins and tail to make them look like real fins.
8
The finished carp drawing without guide lines and with water bubbles.
Erase the guide lines and optionally draw some air bubbles in the water to finish your drawing.
