Drawing a happy Beagle in 9 steps

Animals
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a Beagle, which is a dog with those sweet floppy ears. Grab your pencil and eraser, because we are going to work step-by-step. Follow the shapes and you will see that your little dog will look beautiful!
1
A vertical oval with a vertical construction line for the dog's head.
Start with a vertical oval for the head and draw a soft construction line through the middle.
2
Two ovals that together form the body of the Beagle.
Draw a larger horizontal oval for the chest and a smaller shape for the back of the body.
3
Construction lines for the neck, the legs, and the position of the eyes.
Place straight lines for the neck and draw short dashes where the legs and eyes should go.
4
The legs and snout take shape by drawing thicker lines around the construction lines.
Now draw the thickness of the legs around the lines and create the shape of the snout on the head.
5
Long floppy ears on the head and round shapes for the dog paws.
Create large, hanging ears on the side of the head and draw small circles for the feet.
6
The contours of the dog's body are drawn more clearly.
Draw the final shape of the back, belly, and chest with smooth lines.
7
Details such as eyes, a nose, and a collar are added.
Give the Beagle eyes, a nose, and draw a collar around its neck.
8
Refinement of the head and paws with small details.
Make the eyes and nose darker and add small details to the collar and the toes.
9
The completed drawing of a Beagle without construction lines.
Erase all construction lines, draw a line for the ground, and your Beagle is all finished!
