Drawing a cool eagle step-by-step

Birds
Hi young artist! Today we are going to draw an impressive eagle soaring high above the mountains. Grab your pencil and eraser, because we're starting with simple shapes. Look closely at the steps and before you know it, you'll have a real bird of prey on your paper!
1
Basic shape of an eagle's head with a guide line for the beak.
Draw a small oval for the head and add a diagonal line for the beak.
2
A large oval indicating the body and tail of the eagle.
Make a large, diagonal oval under the head to plan the body and the tail.
3
Lines forming the neck and the start of the eagle's wings.
Connect the head to the body with two lines for the neck and draw the base of the wings.
4
The outlines of the large wings and the tail of the bird.
Now draw the long shapes of the wings and the straight lines for the tail feathers.
5
Guide lines for the feathers in the wings and tail of the eagle.
Add small curves in the wings and the tail to make the first feathers visible.
6
Detailed beak and wavy feathers on the wings.
Make the beak pointed and draw wavy lines along the edges of the wings for real feathers.
7
Details of the eye, legs, and sharp claws of the eagle.
Draw a fierce eye and add the powerful legs with sharp claws at the bottom of the body.
8
The completed drawing of an eagle with grass in the background.
Make the outer lines thicker, erase the guide circles, and draw some grass under the bird.
