Drawing an African Grey Parrot

Birds
Hi little artist! Today we are going to draw a beautiful African Grey Parrot. This is one of the smartest birds in the world and it looks super cool. Using simple shapes, we will create a real parrot on a branch together.
1
Basic shapes of a parrot: a circle and a large oval.
Draw a small circle for the head and a larger oval underneath for the body.
2
The neck lines connecting the head to the parrot's body.
Connect the head and the body with two slightly curved lines for the neck.
3
A long guide line for the parrot's tail.
Draw a long, straight line from the bottom of the body for the tail.
4
A triangular shape on the head that will become the beak.
Make a small triangle at the front of the head for the large beak.
5
The shape of the wing and the first lines for the bird's legs.
Draw a large, curved line across the body for the wing and two sticks for the legs.
6
The eye of the parrot and the details of the legs on the branch.
Draw a small round eye in the head and make the legs thicker with small toes.
7
A curved parrot beak with an upper and lower part.
Give the beak a nice curved shape and add the lower beak.
8
Details of feathers on the wing and the tail of the bird.
Draw small arches on the wings and tail to create real feathers.
9
The finished drawing of an African Grey Parrot on a branch.
Erase the guide lines and color the tail bright red and the rest of the bird grey.
